Canadian Fishing Outpost Camps offers numerous destinations in northern Canada. Locations range from just north of Lac La Ronge in Saskatchewan to the Northwest Territories. Facilities range from light housekeeping cabin with shower and on-site caretaker to simply utilizing your own tent at the site of your choice. Adventure Destinations outpost camps share a land where lakes and rivers flow together in harmony, forming the colossal Arctic Watershed. Sand eskers, peat moss beds, perma frost, rocky ridges, marshes and broad forests are home to moose, caribou, bear, wolves, martin, otter, fishers, lynx, wolverines, beaver, ptarmigan, spruce and ruffled grouse.
Selwyn Lake Lodge: Trophy-sized fish abound: northern pike, lake trout, and arctic grayling. Accommodations are extremly remote and extremely excellent. Extreme Service, chef-prepared meals, meet and greet service, trained guides, experienced hosts. Fish for unbelievable world-class Northern Pike and Lake Trout, along with Artic Grayling. You'll find exclusive resort amenities in the midst of the great Canadian wilderness.
Twin Falls Lodge is scenically located between two sets of water falls on the famous Churchill River. The seclusion of this lodge adds to the experience. The icy water of the Churchill River abounds in Walleye, Northern Pike, White Fish, and Yellow Perch. The Churchill is fast moving with ice cold water, fishing is good from May through September. For the adventurous, we have five lakes available via portage. Twin Falls Lodge is 50 air miles north of La Ronge, Saskatchewan and 600 miles north of the Canada US border.
Thompson's Camps: The base camp for Thompson Camps is located at Otter Lake on the historic Churchill River system in beautiful northern Saskatchewan. It is made up of numerous cabins differing in size and quality. The facilities are completely modern and range from motel rooms for one or two people to deluxe cabins for up to 16 people. Our deluxe cabins include hot tubs and one has its own private indoor swimming pool. Northern pike are one tough fish! They will tailwalk, dive for the bottom, and run like crazy. The one thing they won't do is let you down if you are looking for a great fight. Northern Pike have been called "freshwater barracuda" for a very good reason, they are the fastest striking freshwater fish in the world.
