Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Wilderness lies a small, but unique little camp called Discovery Lake Lodge, otherwise know as a railroad town called Zarn. Zarn was abandoned by the Railroad back in the early 1900's and was where about seven families called home.

Discovery Lake Lodge is a great 3 cabin camp on a fantastic lake loaded with beautiful walleye and northern pike. Nearby on neighboring lakes that are easy to reach by ATV's, we offer even more northern, walleye, and excellent lake trout fishing.

Discovery Lake Lodge and Outpost is located in the heart of some of the best fresh water fishing in North America. Trophy Walleye, Northern Pike and Lake Trout are abundant. Our camps are accessed by either, ATV's, Vehicle, Aircraft or even Train. Some may involve a portage or two. You make the call.
We provide you with fully equipted cabins, propane grills, 14 foot Lund boats with 9.9 Mercury motor and swivel seats. A fish cleaning house is available to all fisherman as well as a freezer, ice, gas, minnows, and cut bait for trout.
ATV’s with trailers are accessable to provide you with transportation to and our various lakes including the Outposts.
Discovery Lake Lodge and Outpost is a sportsman’s paradise. Consisting of a hundreds of square miles of land relatively untouched by hunters, we provide some of the best fall Black Bear hunting in all of North America.
Archery, muzzle loader, or rifle, you choose the type of hunt and we’ll take care of the rest! Our baits are continuously active throughout the whole season. Cinnamon and Chocolates have been known to appear when least expected.
Discovery Lake Lodge & Outpost provides a large freezer and storage to insure your animal is kept safe and cool while you spend the remainder of your trip fishing and enjoying the Canadian Wilderness.
To maintain a stable trophy population, we only book a select amount of bear hunters per year.
