The Bay goes to depths of 216 feet. This Bay has marvelous Lake Trout and Northern Pike and Muskie, as well as Small Mouth Bass, Large Mouth Bass, and larger Walleye. The Lake Trout in Whitefish Bay spawn in the fall and move into shallow bays, such as Snake Bay, for spawning. The fish stay there throughout the winter and in early spring they can be found by top water fishing in Snake Bay and in some places in Whitefish Bay.
