Plummers Lodges

Reindeer Lake, Northern Saskatchewan. This isn't the prairies, this is Canada's true north, unspoiled, rugged, and 10,000 years in the making. Situated above the 57th parallel, Reindeer Lake stands alone as North America's premier Northern Pike and Lake Trout fishing destination.

Combined with this great lake is a great lodge … Reindeer Lake Lodge … a true diamond in the rough. Reindeer Lake Lodge has represented the pinnacle of fresh water fishing in North America for more than a decade.

Reindeer Lake has the Canadian Grand Slam of fishing all within the same body of water. No fly outs required. Huge Northern Pike, lunker Lake Trout, delicious Walleye, feisty Arctic Grayling, and White Fish.

For more than 20 years now Lindbergh's has set the standard for fly-in fishing. With more than 80% repeat clients, the name Lindbergh's is synonymous with great fishing, dependable service, and exceptional value. Reindeer Lake Lodge possesses the three "R's" of a successful lodge: Reputation, Remoteness, and Resources.

The Lodge is located on an island in the northern section of Reindeer Lake, more than 40 miles away from any other lodge. In fact, we have the entire north end of this magnificent lake to ourselves. Brian Simms purchased the lodge in 1997 and will continue to operate the lodge to 5-star standards. Reindeer Lake Lodge is the only 5-star lodge on Reindeer Lake.

Reindeer Lake Lodge accommodates 28 guests in 8 individual cabins. Each cabin has a 3-piece bath, hotel-style beds, comfortable chairs, propane heaters, and a mini bar. Daily maid service is provided as well as fresh coffee delivered to your cabin before you wake each morning and hors d'oeuvres waiting for you when you return from fishing each day. Breakfast and dinner are served in the Lodge each day, whereas lunch is a true Canadian Shore Lunch served by your guide.

The Lodge features a bar, pool table, and dart board as well as a great selection of movies that you can view in the lodge or your cabin.

Now let's talk about big fish! Our guests have caught in excess of 1500 trophy Northern Pike and more than 20 over that prestigious 30 lbs. mark. How about one boat catching 18 Northerns over 40 inches in one morning and our largest Northern being more than 52 inches long. Our guests have caught in excess of 200 Lake Trout over 20 lbs. yearly and some of the real big ones have been in excess of 50 lbs. "Our whole group agrees … our stay at Reindeer Lake Lodge was outstanding. Once again … thank you for a wonderful week". Ed Subler, BCB Anglers.

Guests catching more than 100 fish per day happens so frequently that we have lost count! Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Walleye, Arctic Grayling and White fish ... Reindeer Lake has the Canadian Grand Slam of fishing all in one lake. No fly outs required!

All of Lindbergh's locations practice catch and release fishing. Other than your shore lunch, all fish must be returned to the water. Single barbless hooks, fish cradles and proper release techniques will ensure that the trophy fish you catch will live to fight another day. A trophy fish is too valuable to be caught only once.

What a lake it is! Reindeer Lake is almost 2,000,000 acres and is rated as the world's 22nd largest fresh water body; 10th largest in North America. 5500 islands and more than 5700 miles of shoreline (combined islands and shoreline) provide you with an endless array of protected fishing spots. You will not lose fishing time because of wind. There is always a protected place to fish. Fishing Reindeer Lake is like fishing a thousand small lakes filled with huge fish.
