Little Moose Lodge is located at a central point on the famous Clearwater-Pipestone chain of lakes. Mechanized rail portages at the North and South ends of Clearwater Lake, enable you to access a total of 11 interconnected lakes and 2 rivers, while remaining seated in your boat. In addition, portaging into numerous other lakes provides an endless variety if excellent fishing and exploration.

Clearwater, Pipestone, Despair and Jackfish Lakes are noted for the record-breaking fish they have produced. Walleye, Muskie, Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Large and Smallmouth Bass, Jumbo Perch and Whitefish are species found within its chain. This extraordinary water system has NEVER been commercially fished, and due to its overall narrowness, many sheltered bays, and winding rivers, it can be fished even in rough weather.

Anglers of all ages and abilities can find their favorite species in Clearwater and its surrounding lakes including: Walleye, Muskie, Northern Pike, Large Mouth Bass, Lake Trout and Jumbo Perch. If you prefer, we can arrange for an experienced guide to help you scout out the best fishing holes.

The lodge has new 4-stroke Honda motors with 16’ boats and swivel seats, cushions, nets, minnow bucket, anchor, life jackets, paddles and emergency kit for a comfortable experience on the water.

Little Moose Lodge is home to one of the largest Whitetail deer populations in all of Ontario. Let our experienced guides give you some great hunting.

By boat, or on foot, you can hunt for white-tail deer or small game - and enjoy the beauty of the autumn season in Sunset Country.
