COMFORT - Our modern cottages are electrically heated cabins with full bathrooms and private bedrooms. Granted, we don't have men in tuxedos and towels over their arms catering to your every whim,but you do get excellent service from our experienced, friendly staff,and personal attention from the resort owners. You wont be lost in the shuffle at Moosehorn.
Our boats are 16 feet long and wide, with full floors and pedestal chairs. They come equipped with 50 HP Mercury 4-stroke electric starting motors with tilt and trimas well as an electric trolling motor. The motors are replaced every year to insure their reliability. We want you to have a fun, comfortable, trouble-free day on the lake. One other thing because we enjoy on-the-water access to 6 connected lakes(Minnitaki Abram Botsford Pelican Lost and Lac Suel) you can put your gear in your boat when you arrive and remove it when you depart at the end of your stay you don't have to keep moving your equipment for each fishing day.
EXPERIENCE - Moosehorn Lodge has been continuously owned and operated by the Schaub family since 1949. We know how to do it right. Each of our guides has a minimum of 10 years experience ON OUR LAKES. All our people are local residents, not just "summer staff".
