Northern Spirit Lodge

Northern Spirit Lodge is accessible by road and is located on the southern shore of scenic Lake Athapapuskow. Lake Athapap supports a wide variety of fish such as Walleye, huge Northern Pike and world-class Lake Trout, some weighing as much as 63lbs!

Our Lodge record was 43 1/2 long and weighed approximately 45 lbs. There are also hundreds of other pristine lakes nearby, just name your species of fish and we’ll point you to the right lake. NSL has six beautiful light housekeeping cabins (some with screened porches), each equipped with modern kitchen and bathroom facilities. Bedding, towels and cookware are included; just bring your own tackle, groceries and cooking skills. Eighteen-foot Lund boats with 25-30 hp motors will get you anywhere you want to go quickly and safely. Guide services are available, please book in advance. The Petryks are waiting to provide you with top-notch service. Come and experience "The North" our way! You’ll come back!

Cranberry Portage is located in the western part of Grass River Provincial Park in central Manitoba, at 54 35' N 101 23' W. It lies on Provincial Highway 10, 48 kilometres east of Flin Flon, (which is on the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border) and 96 kilometres north of The Pas. It is also on the rail line just south of the point where the line forks, the western branch going to Flin Flon and the northern branch going to Lynn Lake.
