Just north of Thunder Bay Ontario, just north of lake Nipigon and just north of the 50th parallel is the best kept fly in secret in Canada.
Welcome to Wabakimi park, the mighty Ogoki river, the heart of the Canadian shield, the virgin boreal forest, and most of all, the serene wilderness lakes of the North land.
This is a special place on the planet that some would call Paradise. Our magnificient fishery is second to none. Walleye and Northern Pike are the species of choice. And do you know what the best part of all of this is?? We are affordable!
Whiteclay Lake - We have two deluxe camps on Whiteclay Lake. They are 5 miles apart. The West camp boasts 2 cabins, a separate shower facility and sauna. We have a camp attendant here to make your stay trouble free. Our North camp is a very large campus with two cabins. Perfect for larger groups.
Chipchase Lake - A very special place to enjoy the wilderness in a truely comfortable camp that has been newly constructed. Chipchase's claim to fame is hefty Walleye, and lots of them. The lake is easy to fish and you are never too far away from Camp.
Grayson Lake - This is our newest deluxe cabin, located 46 miles northwest of our seaplane base deep in the serene wilderness of Wabakimi Provincial Park. Grayson Lake is a long, skinny lake about 2 miles wide and over 7 miles long, filled with rock islands, weedy bays, and sandy points. We have a portage on Lowr Nikki Lake for the explorers. Combine great fishing structure, a well-equipped cabin, and excellent fishing, and you will know that Grayson Lake is a winner.
Kathleen Lake - Kathleen Lake is approximately 1750 acres in size and is the headwater for the Opichiaun River system that flows north to Albany. For the angler it presents all of the ingredients for fast walleye action and big pike. Weedy bays, points with quick drop offs and a rock strewn shoreline. As one fisherman put it, "There seems to be endless Walleye here. We've caught several Pike over 3 feet, but we've lost just as many huge monsers." The best action is found on and around the shoals.
Scallop Lake - Here is the perfect place for those who want to explore. Scallop Lake...Austen Lake...Lower Maddy & Maddy Lake form this great chain on the Raymond River. We put the boats and motors, as well as gas across short portages. Walleye and big Northerns are on the menu. Bon appetite!
Pickett Lake - Pickett lake is located on the Raymond river and is fed by the Ogoki River. Clearbed lake is separeated from Pickett by a small beaver dam and known for great catches of Walleye and good sized Northerns. As an added bonus, Pickett features miles of river fishing with great weed lines for Pike.
