Plummers Lodges

There is no safer, more convenient, more relaxing holiday than that of a house boat vacation. These qualities combined with the ability to park your houseboat on some of the best fishing holes you will ever see, make for enjoyment unsurpassed by any ordinary fishing vacation.

An excellent way to spend your family vacation! You are on one of the most beautiful lakes in Northwestern Ontario, in the privacy of you own "Floating Lodge". Sand beaches, swimming, water skiing, tubing, waterfalls, exploring and just plain old good fishing, make a houseboat vacation on Lac Seul the natural family vacation you will always remember. Spend your evening barbequing on the deck or in front of a campfire on the beach, and watch the magnificent Northern Ontario sunset, followed by the Northern Lights and a sky full of stars.

Our houseboat vacations offer unequalled opportunity for relaxation. If you've come here to get away from it all, without leaving all the "conveniences of home" behind, you've made a wise choice. Don't forget to bring your camera, you'll want to take lots of pictures.

Come fish Lac Seul, Ontario's third largest lake (besides the Great Lakes). Lac Seul is noted for its excellent angling of Northern Pike (up to 32 lbs.), Walleye (Yellow Pickerel) (up to 12 lbs.), record-size Muskie (catch and release only) and Small Mouth Bass.

Houseboat fishing has many advantages, including the freedom to choose your own schedule. Best of all you don't have to travel miles every day just to get to the fish from a far-off base camp. In fact, days that you don't feel like going "out" fishing, often plenty of good fishing can be had right off the rear of the houseboat.

Sioux Lookout Floating Lodges offer you the opportunity to cruise into the scenic beauty of Lac Seul wilderness with your basecamp. Imagine enjoying the finest small game and moose hunting in our incredible outdoors, and just around the corner is your houseboat, providing you with a warm and comfortable retreat from the chill of Autumn.

Since taking over the business in 1989 we have continuously upgraded and improved our fleet and equipment. Beginning in 2001, we are extremely proud to offer three, 68-foot VIP houseboats. These luxury liners are 16 feet wide, feature a raised roof in the eating and kitchen areas, and are equipped to offer you every comfort of your own home.
