As one of Canada's top fly-in fishing and Moose hunting outfitters, you can expect World Class Walleye fishing and the best Moose hunting in Canada.
Twin Lakes Outfitters & Wilderness Camps16 outpost fishing Camps are located on lakes and rivers which have fantastic fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Brook Trout (Speckled Trout) and White Sturgeon. It is not uncommon for a person to catch over 100 Walleyes in a day. 20+ pound Northern Pike are caught and released all summer long while the rivers have trophy Brook Trout which can reach over 5 pounds. Our outpost cabins are clean, comfortable and fully equipped.
The Nakina area is famous for it's extremely high population of Moose. We have Fall Moose hunting at our fishing camps as well as our 24 remote tent camps. Due to the high population of Moose, we receive more adult cow and bull tags then 95% of other outfitters in Ontario.
FISHING:
Fly-in with Twin Lakes Outfitters & Wilderness Camps experienced pilots and enjoy the fishing adventure of a lifetime on a remote clear freshwater lake. You and your friends will long remember the spectacular Northern Ontario wilderness landscape and fantastic fishing lakes.
Our air base lies just six miles east of the community of Nakina, Ontario, Canada, the hub of the very best wilderness fishing and hunting area Northern Ontario has to offer. Two hundred miles north of Lake Superior offers total wilderness and long growing season for big trophy fish.
Twin Lakes Outfitters & Wilderness Camps outpost lakes are located north of Lake Superior which has the best Walleye fishing in the World. It is not uncommon for a person to catch over 100 Walleyes a day. If you are new to a lake, it may take you a day to explore the lake and find some hot spots but generally, you will be overwhelmed by the volume and size of the Walleyes.
If your arm starts to get sore from catching walleyes, then you will be in real trouble when a 20 pound Northern Pike grabs your line. The extremely high population of Walleyes and other feeder fish produces some of the biggest Northern Pike in the World. All summer long, our customers catch and release Northern Pike which are way over the size that is considered a trophy. They are there waiting for you and when you catch them, we ask that you let them go for someone else to catch.
The streams and rivers in the area are stuffed with the biggest Brook Trout (Speckled Trout) you have ever seen. You can catch small pan fried size right up to big 5 pound trophies. Most of the great Brook Trout fishing spots also have great Walleye fishing so don't be afraid to book a trip at a lake like Dusey Lake where you just have to go about 2 miles up river to the falls to get awesome Brookies.
HUNTING:
Moose are big and plentiful. Hunting accommodations are in fully equipped cabin or tent sites. We operate hunting camps in W.M.U. areas 1D, 17 and 18B. All tent camps are platform-frame construction providing at least seven feet of head room and sliding plywood doors. Tents and cabins are fully equipped and furnished with built-in bunks, foam mattresses, pillows, heaters, cook stove, lanterns, table, cooking utensils and cutlery.
Flying your moose out of the bush is included in the price of your hunting package. Moose hunters should bring their fishing rods because if you get your moose early, the rest of the week can be a great fishing trip while we keep care of your moose quarters.
