You're sure to enjoy a fall black bear hunting in Northwestern, Ontario in White Pine Lodge's exclusive, "guests-only" hunt territory.
Only guests of White Pine Lodge are allowed to hunt in this territory. This exclusive area can be accessed by boat, truck or ATV (preferably by ATV since land access is by an old logging road). So, if you have an ATV bring it along.
The black bear hunt is self guided, but we do have an on-staff hunter that can assist you with any questions you may have. We can also assist with skinning and preparing the meat for transport home. We will go over the area maps with you and identify the location of the stands when you arrive. We pre-bait stands for a few weeks prior to your arrival.
Archery hunters, we suggest you bring your own stands, as we do not supply portable stands.

Lake of the Woods provides a variety of structure such as rocky points and drop-offs for walleye, deep cold water for lake trout and secluded weedy bays for bass, northern and other toothy predators.
Take the most convenient route to International Falls, Minnesota and cross the border into Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada. Travel west along Highway 71. Drive north on Highway 71 for 68 miles. The lodge is located 7 miles south of the town of Sioux Narrows. Follow the signs to White Pine Lodge.
