Plummers Lodges

Canadian sports fishing at its finest: Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Arctic Grayling. Our base camp is located on a beautiful sheltered bay on Wollaston Lake with numerous islands and mini-bays. You can drive - we are 245 road miles north of La Ronge on Hwy #2 and #905 or you can fly in to our 2700 ft. airstrip.

Troll, cast or fly fish for great Northern Pike (even greater on a fly rod), gorgeous Walleye, powerful Lake Trout, exotic and beautiful Arctic Grayling.

Trophies: Measure length and girth. Quickly weigh and take picture (not necessary.) Send particulars to a perma-trophy taxidermist (try Hawkins Taxidermy). Your plastic trophy will outshine and far outlive the old skin-mount type. Quickly release fish (within 40 seconds.)

IF YOU DRIVE:

We recommend that you overnight in Prince Albert or La Ronge at one of the following: South Hill Inn (P.A.) 1-800-363-4466 Waterbase Inn (La Ronge) 306-425-5550 Harbour View Motel (La Ronge) 306-425-3262

Make reservations well in advance.

Take Hwy #2 north to La Ronge and beyond. 20 miles north of La Ronge the pavement ends and you will continue on an all-weather road. Take the Hwy #905 junction 118 miles north of La Ronge.

Gas, food and lodging north of La Ronge is available at McLennan Lake (80 miles) and Brabant Lake (115 miles of La Ronge.) From Brabant Lake to our camp is 123 miles.

IF YOU FLY:

Our airstrip is 2700 ft. hard packed clay sand, opening over the lake. It easily handles most light twins. Altitude: 1300 ft. Latitude: 57° 44'30" Longitude: 103°57'20"

We recommend you fuel at La Ronge (200 statute miles), file a flight plan and get a weather report from La Ronge FSS (122.20), phone us your ETZ from La Ronge, then follow highway to camp.

Clear customs at Regina or Saskatoon
